"Atheneum" Five Shelf Bookcase (individually priced)
This beautiful bookcase design was inspired by our desire to make a beautifully crafted piece, featuring mortise and tenon joinery and hand cut raised panels, that had a light appearance while being extremely durable. Delicate slender legs carry the piece and give it a slender appearance. Whilst, for strength, the shelves are made in the same fashion as our butcher block counter-tops, with individually cut strips glued on the tangential plane for maximum strength. This will help to ensure less shelf flex through the years. This piece will serve you well and be an incredible addition to any room in the house, not just a library.
