This gorgeous low back stool was inspired by our love of beautifully crafted chairs and stools. We wanted to give it plenty of smooth curvaceous lines to run your hands along as you sit in it. We also wanted to give it a more delicate look whilst ensuring it is a very sturdy stool. The seat is hand-shaped using a tool called a travisher. After careful shaping it is then up to another hand tool, a spokeshave, to add the careful sculpting to the edge of the seat. We also hand shape the legs and spindles taking care to add distinctive details such as the beveled center in each spindle.

Finished with tung oil to bring out the natural beauty of the wood we are sure you will enjoy this chair for years and it will certainly become a favorite for yourself and generations to come.
